Flan - Custard
Caramel Ingredients: 1 cup of sugar 1/3 cup water
Flan Ingredients: 4 eggs 1 can (14 ounces) condensed milk 1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk 1/2 cup milk or water 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Pinch of salt
Preheat the oven toa 350 °F.

Caramel procedure: In a medium saucepan add sugar and water. Cook in high until caramel turn light golden brown (about 10 to 15 minutes). Pour caramel into mold. (I use two round glass baking dish or two 9 inch aluminum baking dish) Turning the mold make sure to evenly coat the bottom and sides of the mold with the caramel. Set aside.

Flan procedure: In a large bowl, beat all ingredients. Pour mixture in the caramel mold. Place a large baking pan with 1 inch of water in the oven. Put mold in the oven over the large baking pan with the water. Bake at 350 °F for 1 hour.

Let Flan cool down for about 1 hour. Put Flan in the refrigerator over night. Use a knife to scrape edge carefully. Cover the mold with a plate. Turn Flan on the plate. Enjoy!
